2016 Q1-3 full load hours for hydro, coal and wind power by province
Original title: 2016年前三季度全国6000千瓦及以上电厂发电设备平均利用小时情况
Links: Original CN (link).
According to CEC monthly statistics, for the first three quarters of 2016, the average productivity for generation equipment of 6 MW and above was 2818 full-load hours, down 179 hours。
By the end of September, national installed capacity of hydropower plants of 6 WM and above stood at 280 GW. Average productivity of hydropower equipment in the first three quarters was 2766 full-load hours, an increase over the previous year of 127 hours。Compared with the same period last year, there was an increase in hydropower equipment productivity in 19 provinces, amongst which an increase of over 1000 hours in Fujian, increases over 500 hours in Jiangxi, Hunan, Liaoning, Jilin, Hebei and Beijing。In the 13 provinces with more than 5 GW of installed capacity of hydropower, eight provinces saw an increase of productivity, including Fujian and Hunan, where productivity increased by more than 500 hours. In Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan, productivity fell by 441, 417 and 106 hours, compared to the same period last year。
By the end of September, national installed capacity of thermal power plants of 6 MW and above was 1030 GW (including gas-fired, waste heat, waste pressure, and biomass power generation, etc.). Thermal power generation increased by 0.8% in the first three quarters. Average productivity of thermal power equipment was 3071 full-load hours, down 213 hours compared with the same period last year, and the lowest level since 2005。In Shandong, average productivity of thermal power equipment reached 3881 hours ;in Hebei and Jiangsu it exceeded 3600 hours;in Guangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet it was below 2000 hours。Compared with the same period last year, increases in productivity occurred only in Beijing, Hubei and Hebei. In other provinces it fell by different levels, including decreases of over 1000 hours in Qinghai and Hainan 。
By the end of September, national installed capacity of nuclear power was 31.35 GW, with average productivity of 5235 hours, down 290 hours compared with the same period last year 。
By the end of September, national installed capacity of grid connected wind power was 140 GW, the average productivity of wind power equipment was 1251 full-load hours, a reduction of 66 hours compared with the same period last year。Average productivity in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guangxi and Fujian was 1712, 1643, 1614 and 1602 hours, respectively。Out of the 12 provinces with more than 3 GW of wind power capacity, Yunnan, Jiangsu, Hebei, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and Shandong had average productivity exceeding the national average;productivity of wind power equipment in Gansu, Xinjiang and Jilin was only 870, 946 and 951 hours respectively, down 70, 105, and 388 hours compared with the same period last year。
The average productivity for the first three quarters of 2016, and changes compared to the same period last year, for power generation equipment 6 MW and above, is listed in Tables 1 and 2。
(Note:all statistics are for power plants with a generation capacity of 6 MW and above)
