2016 Q1 PV installations and operational statistics

In Q1, the pattern of PV power generation changed。Newly installed PV generation capacity exceeded 1 GW in North China, East China, Central China and South China, at 1.5 GW, 1.31 GW, 1.3 GW and 1.04 GW, respectively. Provinces with more than 500 MW of newly installed capacity included:Yunnan 940 MW, Shandong 880 MW, Xinjiang 710 MW, Shaanxi 600 MW, Anhui 580 MW, Zhejiang 530 MW and Jiangxi 520 MW。Cumulative PV capacity in North China, East China, Central China and South China reached 25.6 GW, already exceeding the 23.64 GW of installed capacity in the Northwest。Provinces in the Central and Eastern regions with cumulative installed capacity of more than 1 GW of PV include:Jiangsu 4.4 GW, Hebei 2.27 GW, Shandong 2.21 GW, Zhejiang 2.17 GW, Anhui 1.79 GW, Shanxi 1.22 GW。For details of construction of PV power generation capacity in different provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) see the Annex。
