Chinese researchers develop clean fuel ether to replace gasoline
科技部中国生产力促进中心协会近日发布消息称，经过多年研究和试验，我国科学家将甲醇氧化成醚类物质二甲氧基甲烷（三碳醚），并将这种液态物质掺入汽油，从而混合出一种高效的醚类清洁汽油——二甲氧基甲烷汽油。
测试结果表明，这种新配方的醚类清洁汽油比乙醇汽油点燃速度更快、燃烧效率更高。与标准汽油比，加入二甲氧基甲烷的汽油减少了约70％一氧化碳和碳氢化合物的排放，减少了汽车尾气对PM2.5的贡献。
