Good results in latest round of upgrading rural grid
自2010年9月国家启动新一轮农网改造升级工程以来，按照国家能源局统一部署，国家电网公司、南方电网公司加快推进农村电网改造升级建设，着力满足农村经济社会发展和农民生活改善的用电需求。截至2013年11月，两大电网企业共完成新一轮农网改造升级和无电地区电力建设投资2761.8亿元。
3年来，国家电网公司共新建和改造变电站5003座、高低压线路76.81万公里、配电变压器31.5万台；解决农村“低电压”问题2070.8万户；实施农田机井通电12.98万眼、受益农田911.45万亩；解决了9个孤网运行和172个主电网联接薄弱的县域电网问题，农村供电保障能力显著提高，农村户均停电时间减少59.9%，户均电压不合格时间减少43.3%，对拉动农村经济、增加农民收入起到了重要推动作用。
南方电网公司农村供电服务营业窗口覆盖80%以上的乡镇和1/3以上的行政村，农村供电服务承诺兑现率100%。农村供电可靠率99.93%，较新一轮农网改造前的2010年同比提高0.1个百分点；农村综合电压合格率98.8%，较新一轮农网改造前的2010年同比提高3.2个百分点，有力地支持了南方五省区农村经济社会的发展和农民生活条件的改善。
