On October 13, the National Energy Administration published total electricity consumption data for September。

In September, total electricity consumption was 531.7 TWh, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year。Divided by industry category, electricity consumption of the primary industry was 10.8 TWh, an increase of 3,0% year-on-year;consumption by the secondary industry was 342.1 TWh, an increase of 5.1%;consumption by the tertiary industry was 83.5 billion TWh, an increase of 11.9%;Urban and rural residential electricity consumption was 95.3 TWh, an increase of 11.7%。

Cumulative electricity consumption for January-September was 4,688.8 TWh, an increase of 6.9% on the same period last year。Divided by industry category, electricity consumption of the primary industry was 91.1 TWh, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year;consumption by the secondary industry was 3,263 TWh, an increase of 6,0%;consumption by the tertiary industry was 665.9 TWh, an increase of 10.5%;Urban and rural residential electricity consumption was 668.8 TWh, an increase of 7.5%。
