5月29日，国家能源局在福州召开能源装备企业座谈会。国家发展改革委副主任、国家能源局局长吴新雄，福建省省长苏树林出席座谈会并讲话，福建省委常委、常务副省长张志南主持会议。
吴新雄指出，能源装备制造是重要基础产业和战略性产业，推动能源装备国产化产业化，对于保障国家能源安全，具有重要意义。近年来，我国能源装备制造业取得长足发展，能源装备技术水平、制造能力和自主化水平明显提升，为我国能源产业由大转强、实现科学发展和可持续发展提供了重要保障。
吴新雄强调，福建的区域优势突出、发展态势良好，为能源装备企业提供了有利的投资机会和发展空间。国家能源局将进一步转变职能，优化能源规划和产业布局，主动为企业、为地方提供良好服务，为福建经济社会持续健康发展提供能源安全保障。
苏树林代表省委、省政府，对国家能源局长期以来对福建经济社会发展的大力支持表示感谢。他说，当前，福建正处在难得的战略机遇期，后发优势明显，产业发展迅速，对能源的需求不断增长。希望国家能源局一如既往地关心福建，在加快能源项目建设、服务产业支撑等方面给予更多支持；希望能源装备企业把握机遇，加快双方合作对接，实现福建发展优势与企业战略规划的有效结合。
国家能源局总经济师李冶、有关司负责同志，福建省有关部门主要负责同志，以及大型能源装备企业负责人参加了座谈会。
