China and France to cooperate in large-scale nuclear fuel cycle projects
由国家专项基金投资，总投资额超过千亿元的中法合作核循环项目日前首次在国内召开推介会。此项目是中法两国经贸合作与核能合作最大的项目，对我国核电的可持续发展、自主发展核循环产业等意义重大。
据介绍，中法合作建设的中国核循环项目由中核集团负责建设，具有三方面功能：一是每年处理国内核电站卸出燃料800吨，通过核循环提高铀资源利用率，基本满足我国核电站卸出燃料的处理需求；二是建设乏燃料离堆贮存中心，一期贮存能力为3000吨，对核电站卸出的燃料进行后期管理，让我国的核电更加安全；三是可以将高放废液玻璃固化，实现高放废物长期管理的固有安全，让我国的核电能源利用更清洁。
据了解，此核循环项目计划2020年开工，2030年左右建成，建成后我国将形成商用的大规模核循环能力。（记者袁于飞）
