Fatal accidents in coal mines fall to below 0.3 per million ton
在9日举行的国新办新闻发布会上，国家安全监管总局新闻发言人黄毅说，2013年全国煤矿百万吨死亡率为0.293，首次降到0.3以下，同比下降21.7%。2013年全国实现了年初国务院安委会确定的事故总量、重特大事故、主要相对指标“三个继续下降”的目标，全国安全生产形势继续保持稳定好转。2013年全国较大事故起数、死亡人数同比分别下降17.3%和18.1%，重特大事故同比分别下降16.9%和5.9%。
为推动煤矿安全治本攻坚，国家安监总局推进落实《煤矿矿长保护矿工生命安全七条规定》和煤矿安全治本攻坚七条举措，并在全国确定了50个重点县，全面启动遏制重特大事故的煤矿安全攻坚战。2013年，煤矿事故起数和死亡人数同比分别下降23.8%和23.7%，其中较大事故同比分别下降35.6%和37%，重特大事故同比分别下降12.5%和10.3%。
2013年6月中旬到10月底，全国范围内集中开展了安全生产大检查，各重点行业领域生产经营单位共排查治理隐患681.5万项，整改率97.9%；其中重大隐患10596项，落实整改资金54.7亿元，整改率86.7%。11月至12月，在全国开展了安全大检查“回头看”，近期安监总局又组织了“回头看”的专项督查，进一步推动隐患的整改。（记者鲍丹）
