日前，昌平14辆新能源345路慢车上路运营。据了解，新能源公交车告别了柴油发动机，采用清洁能源天然气作为燃料，发动机改为后置，动力强、噪音小，而且接近“零”排放。今年年内，40辆345路慢车将全部更换为新能源车。
昨天，笔者在345路慢车公交总站看到，新能源车车身颜色依然为蓝、银、黄三色相间，车长也和旧车一样为18米，但车前上方安装了LED电子路牌，乘客可以更清晰地看到线路信息。此外，车辆还有个贴心的改变，公交车的门槛由三个踏板变成了一个，乘客只需要迈一步就可以进入车内，方便了老年人和腿脚不便的人上下车。
“内部设置更加先进，保暖性、安全性、舒适性也有了很大提高！”在车队队长邢汀的引导下，笔者进入车内，首先看到的变化就是司机的座位：低矮隔栏改换成高高的玻璃推门，为司机开辟出了一个独立工作间。再往里走，车厢里原先的塑料座椅不见了，取而代之的是和345快车一样的厚垫新座椅，坐上去比原来软和许多。
据了解，新车设有29个座椅，承载能力与旧车相同，约120人。对于新能源公交车能跑多远的问题，邢汀表示，连续行驶可在400公里左右，从昌平北站到德胜门至少能跑四五圈。(通讯员 王悦)
