North-West territories, Canada, seek energy cooperation with CHina
加拿大西北地区省长鲍勃·麦克劳德16日在北京表示，加拿大西北地区资源丰富，希望中国能源企业前往西北地区与加拿大共同开发油气资源。
据介绍，加拿大西北地区地处北极环带内，拥有140万平方公里土地，辖区内有33个少数民族居住，50%以上人口为原驻民。
目前，西北地区已探明储量的天然气资源约为92万亿立方英尺，原油储量达70万亿桶左右。在基础设施建设方面，目前西北地区与阿尔伯塔省建有一条原油管线。
尽管资源量较为丰富，但鲍勃·麦克劳德坦言，寒冷的天气条件可能会成为在西北地区能源开采最严峻的挑战。
另外，鲍勃·麦克劳德表示，由于气候变暖等因素，如今该省将在加大管道建设以外，充分利用北极走廊资源，建设专门的能源输出港口。西北地区欢迎中国企业前来投资。
近年来，由于美国页岩气开采量不断上升，导致美国油气资源进口量不断下降。这一影响已经得到加拿大政府的重视，加拿大各省已经开始在全球寻找油气资源的新买家。
2013年下半年以来，加拿大各省以能源合作为目的的对华访问不断。此前，已有包括不列颠哥伦比亚省以及新斯科舍省在内的4个省的官员进行了对华能源交流。
加拿大驻华大使馆大使赵朴表示：预计今年将有更多省份官员前来中国寻求合作。加拿大的投资环境在世界上屈指可数，同时油气资源也相当丰富。而中国对于天然气资源的需求也十分迫切，相信未来加拿大将成为中国最稳定的油气供应商之一。 （张墨思）
