记者近日从陕西省西安市公交总公司获悉，220部12米长的纯天然气无级变速空调车，即将投放10条公交线路，让市民乘公交出行更舒适便捷。
本次投放的220辆公交车采用自动变速，带液力缓速器装置，不仅可缓解驾驶员的劳动强度，还能保证起步更加平稳，提高乘客乘坐的舒适度。
最关键的是，公交车“吃”的是天然气，“吐”的废气也比汽柴油车少很多。
据了解，公交车使用天然气燃料时废气排放总量约为汽油燃料的20%，燃烧后不含铅、苯等致癌的有毒物质，能够有效减轻大气污染和温室效应。 王双瑾
