新华社乌鲁木齐７月９日电（记者杜刚）记者从国网新疆电力有限公司获悉，今年上半年，新疆完成外送电量２４４亿千瓦时，同比增长１０％，其中新能源占２８．６７％，外送新能源占比提升６个百分点。
新疆是我国的能源富集区，煤炭、风光资源均位居全国前列。但受区位影响，新疆能源资源优势无法充分转化为经济优势，挖掘更广阔的市场一方面可优化我国能源结构，另一方面也可服务地方经济发展。
２０１０年，７５０千伏新疆与西北联网第一通道建成投运，结束了新疆电网孤网运行历史，新疆电力资源首次实现外送。２０１３年６月，７５０千伏新疆与西北主网联网第二通道建成投运，“疆电外送”能力提升到２００万千瓦。２０１４年１月，±８００千伏哈密南－郑州直流输电工程投运，成为连接西部边疆和中原大地的“电力丝绸之路”。
截至今年上半年，新疆已累计外送电量１６２５亿千瓦时。
