据行业统计，2020年一季度，全国风电新增并网装机236万千瓦，其中陆上风电新增装机207万千瓦、海上风电新增装机29万千瓦。截止3月底，全国风电累计装机2.13亿千瓦，其中陆上风电累计装机2,06亿千瓦、海上风电累计装机614万千瓦。从新增装机布局来看，主要集中在山西、河北、广西、青海和宁夏五省区，分别为37万千瓦、28万千瓦、27万千瓦、25万千瓦和20万千瓦。
一季度风电发电量1149亿千瓦时，同比增长10.4%；全国风电平均利用小时数548小时，利用小时数较高的地区是云南（988小时）、四川（882小时）和广西（748小时）。
